Roman Blinds in Erdington
£3993 Roman blinds fitted
Each blind up to 1 metre wide × 1 metre drop.
Roman blinds bring fabric to a window without the bulk of curtains. The material folds into neat horizontal pleats as it goes up, sits inside the frame, and gives the room a finished, comfortable feel. In Erdington homes we fit them most in bedrooms and living rooms where people want something warmer than a roller.
Best rooms for roman blinds in Erdington
The tall windows of older Gravelly Hill terraces carry Romans particularly well, as the folded stack sits within the reveal. In wide 1930s casements around Short Heath and Pype Hayes, a lined Roman makes a cold glass wall feel more comfortable on winter evenings. Blackout and thermal linings are both available, and the fitter will bring fabrics from plains to patterns so you can see them in your own room.
Three Roman blinds fitted for £399, each up to 1 metre wide × 1 metre drop. The fitter takes the measurements and shows you the fabrics available within the bundle at your free home visit. It cannot be used with BN-14 or another offer. Any Roman outside the offer is quoted in writing at the same visit, and there is no obligation to go ahead.
Romans are made to order, so allow a little longer for delivery than a roller. The fitter checks whether your recess is deep enough to hold the raised folds; if it is not, the blind goes on the wall above so it clears the glass. Cords are tensioned and fitted with child-safety parts. Most fabrics should be spot-cleaned rather than washed.
If you are dressing several rooms, Romans can be mixed with simpler blinds elsewhere to keep the cost down: a lined Roman in the living room, rollers in the kitchen and bathroom, for example. The fitter will price each window separately so you can see exactly where the money goes.

FAQs
Can I get a blackout Roman for a kid’s room?
Yes. A blackout lining stops light through the fabric. Some light will still show at the edges, so we sometimes add a blackout roller behind for nurseries.
What does the £399 deal cover?
Three Roman blinds, made and fitted, each up to 1 metre wide × 1 metre drop. At your free measure, the fitter checks your windows and explains the fabrics included in that price.
Are Romans hard to keep clean?
Most fabrics need a light vacuum or spot-clean rather than washing. The fitter will tell you the care for the fabric you pick.
